Winter Bale Grazing at Tangle Ridge

January 18th, 2011

Well, it’s another chilly winter at the ranch. However, it looks like we are going to have plenty of moisture in the spring to get the grass growing and fill the dugouts. We just thought we would share some winter bale grazing pictures so you can see that all the sheep are doing great and once again are fertilizing our pastures. The temporary electric fence is moved once a week to allow the sheep access to a new set of bales. We use the blue feeders because it cuts down on our wastage to only about 10%..Enjoy!
